For a photographer who lives in Tuscany, Florence, with around cities such as Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Arezzo, Pistoia is hard to be surprised to see other places. No. Not true! Each region of Italy has its pearls and, thanks to being a wedding photographer, I’m lucky to be able to enjoy these spectacular places, among the most beautiful in the world.

I recently did a photo shoot of marriage to an English couple in Menaggio, in a private villa with a unique view of Lake Como. In fact, the bride had Persian origins and his face very beautiful in its particularity it showed well.

The bride’s getting ready took place in one of the rooms of the villa. A simple but elegant place for a wedding venue. The groom with his friends dressed in another villa, always in Menaggio, and arrived on foot accompanied by the witnesses. The ceremony took place in a terrace with a breathtaking view of Como Lake. The ceremony was a mixture between a Christian blessing and the Iranian tradition of gestures well cards after the exchange of vows and rings.

The atmosphere was incredible. There was a nice energy and everyone enjoyed. While the guests were enjoying a drink, by the pool overlooking Como Lake characterized by fine Italian ‘prosciutto and salame’ accompanied by sparkling wine and mojitos, I, with the bride and groom, spent about 20 minutes for taking a couple photo session.

Demanding nothing, no poses in line with my photojournalistic style of reportage carried out so far and that is typical of my photography. So we moved in the villa’s garden for a walk. While the couple talked each other the emotions of their wedding, I tried to capture with my photograph moments of intimacy, sweetness, happiness. Green plants has allowed me to also use infrared photography which gave a special touch to the photos. I liked, in processing the photos, also give a slight vintage style that seemed suited to romance there was in this marriage.

Then after the speeches, such as in the Anglo-Saxon tradition of marriage, the wedding dinner began. The wedding planners, Amelie and Cècile, had set up an imperial table in one of the terraces overlooking Como Lake. The simple but extremely elegant fittings, illuminated by light bulbs of files that have made this really very charming.

Bella gente, bella organizzazione da parte delle wedding planner, ottimo trucco e acconciatura e la location a Menaggio sul Lago di Como, hanno reso questo matrimonio unico. Come fotografo mi sono divertito potendo lavorare in assoluta tranquillità secondo il mio stile fotogiornalistico in modo da poter raccontare con estrema spontaneità il matrimonio di Ron e Sheereen.

The ice cream corner and the dances (started with the first one), which lasted until late at night, have concluded this beautiful wedding.

Nice people, nice organization by the wedding planners, good makeup and hairstyle and the location in Menaggio on Como Lake, made this wedding unique. As a photographer I enjoyed being able to work in my photojournalistic style so to be able with extreme spontaneity, to tale the story of Sheereen and Ron’s wedding.
